Live. Love. Fight. – Squamish Family Portraits

Live.  Love.  Fight.
If ever there were something to describe Monique this would be it.

Monique was the first photographer to ever welcome me with open arms to the local photographic community.
I clearly remember her kind face approaching me when I first started out.
Not many photographers will do that, for the record.
Monique was different.  Confident.  Kind.  Inspiring.

A few years ago when she was pregnant with her second baby they discovered a brain tumor.
She’s been in for the fight of her life since.
She has inspired so many.

I’ve seen the whole Squamish community rally around her to support her and her family.  Not surprising given the amazing community we live in, but most certainly because she is so deserving after all the love she’s touched us with over the years.

Life is short.
Precious.
I couldn’t think of a better gift to give her than a session of her own.
To remember these times, at least the good parts.  To show her how powerful and beautiful she is.

We’re all rooting for you Monique.  You’ve got this.

Family portraits are a legacy we leave our children, and our children’s children.
Don’t wait to have a reason to do them.
Don’t wait till it’s too late to do them.
