She had the most gorgeous head of thick dark hair that reminded me of sleeping beauty and this sort of zen to her. Maybe from all the pre-natal yoga that her mom did. I’m not entirely sure. We had to re-schedule our first session, which sometimes happens. Babies have a way of letting you know when they aren’t interested in playing along. I was so glad we did though. The second time she came in I held her and stood looking out the window and swayed in rhythm with the trees outside and within minutes she was putty in my hands. It’s as if I had to really find my own zen to tap into hers. It was probably the most peaceful newborn session I have ever experienced.
